About the Event

54 holes of individual play to be played at Gates Four Country Club on October 10th – 12th, 2025. Gross scores only. The field will be divided into Divisions based on age and sex. Players may choose to compete in any Division in which they are eligible. The fields will be flighted within their respective Division based upon their 36-hole scores.* A minimum of four entries is required to create a Division. Otherwise, Divisions are combined. Division changes are not allowed after entries close. All rounds will be played at Gates Four CC. The Championship Flight determining the 2025 CCGC Champion will be played from the Black Tees on the final day.

Women‘s Division will play 36 holes at Gates Four CC on October 11th & 12th.

  • All amateur entrants must be 16 or older and reside in Cumberland County.
  • Past CCGC champions who are not golf professionals are eligible.
  • Golfers 50 years of age or older are eligible to participate in the Senior Division or the Men’s Division.
  • Entry fees are $125 for the Men’s Division, Seniors, and Super Senior (65+) Divisions and $95 for the Women’s Division.
    • Includes:
      • 3 days (Mens Division) / 2 days (Women’s Division) of USGA tournament golf
      • Trophies for all Division Winners
      • Practice round green fees only. (Cart not included). Practice rounds are limited to weekdays and after 1 p.m. on weekends seven days before the tournament after paying fees. Call 425-6667 for a tee time.

      • Gates Four Champions Reception & Pairing Party: Thursday, Oct. 9th : 6 – 7:30pm

  • All youth entrants must reside in Cumberland County.
  • Junior Golfers 16 or older may compete in Men’s Divisions.

All Divisions:

  • USGA Rules will govern all play. Additional local rules will be posted and announced before play.
  • Gates Four Country Club requires proper golfing attire. Men: Soft spikes, collard shirts, hemmed shorts/slacks, and golf hats are worn only in the forward position. Ladies: Skirts, slacks, Bermuda shorts, golf shirts/blouses.
  • No radios, music or audio devices on the course.
  • Field Limited to 96 participants. No preferred pairings.

Exciting Policy Update: CCGC Lowers Age Requirement to 15!

The Cumberland County Golf Championship committee is thrilled to announce a rule change for the 57th Annual Cumberland County Golf Championship at Gates Four County Club on October 10-12th! While the Youth Division has been suspended for this year’s tournament, the CCGC Rules Committee has approved lowering the minimum participation age to 15 years old.

This exciting update opens the door for many of Cumberland County’s talented young golfers to compete in the Men’s and Women’s Divisions—allowing them to sharpen their skills, showcase their passion, and contribute to the proud legacy of the CCGC for years to come. This policy change applies to both the Men’s and Women’s Divisions.
